Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

On average 16,000 words roll off our tongues each day! We are going to spend time on the day of judgment giving an account for each careless word. I am going to be up there forever (good thing it's eternal life). Yikes! Every careless word... Think about it will you be justified by them or condemned! Think before you speak (James 1:26, 3:6). Speak truth with love (Eph. 4:25-32) and use your words wisely.

Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it, He will bring forth you righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday.

When we are committed to God and place our trust in HIS ways, then HE will make it happen. Our obedience (righteousness) will shine forth for all to see. He will make you a light for life to others! Are you ready to light it up this week for God's Kingdom?
